Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience repairing injection molds and precision tooling (multi-cavity and hot runner exposure preferred).
Comfort interpreting drawings, mold designs, and CAD models.
Strong troubleshooting mindset with a root cause–driven approach.
Proficiency with precision metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges).
Familiarity with mold teardown, inspection, fitting, and reassembly.
Competence with hand and power tools and diagnostic instruments.
Background in industrial/manufacturing environments—ideally a toolroom or high-precision production setting.
CMMS experience (Maximo a plus) and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, service, and repair complex molds, including multi-cavity and hot runner systems, to minimize downtime.
Disassemble, inspect, diagnose, and rebuild tooling components to restore capability and extend mold life.
Machine and fit components with toolroom equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, polishing tools) to tight tolerances.
Analyze issues such as flash, short shots, and dimensional nonconformance; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Interpret engineering drawings, mold designs, CAD models, and specifications to execute repairs and improvements.
Run scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) in line with best practices to protect performance and reliability.
Document work in Maximo (CMMS) to ensure complete records, traceability, and compliance with quality standards.
Communicate mold condition, status, and root cause findings clearly to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve tooling-related issues quickly and effectively.
Proactively spot risks before they become failures and make sound technical decisions within your scope.
Adhere to GxP requirements by following SOPs, maintaining accurate documentation, exercising rigorous quality control, and completing all training.
Contribute to organizational compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
