About The Position

The Injection Molding Machine Operator is responsible for producing high-quality plastic products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role includes operating molding equipment, inspecting parts for quality, trimming and packaging finished products, and supporting a safe and efficient production process. This is a full-time, first-shift position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Occasional opportunities for overtime are available based on production needs.

Requirements

  • Prior injection molding experience preferred.
  • Candidates with manufacturing, assembly, or quality inspection experience and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable with good attendance and reliability.
  • Basic math and measurement skills preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to company-established limits.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

Responsibilities

  • Operate injection molding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Remove molded parts from machines and inspect for quality standards.
  • Trim, assemble, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Monitor machine operation and report any equipment issues.
  • Accurately complete and maintain production, scrap, and downtime records.
  • Follow all quality standards and production requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
