About The Position

At Trelleborg, our manufacturing team is focused on creating parts needed in the aerospace industry. The Injection Mold Operator is responsible for performing a variety of manual, semi-automated, or automated tasks necessary for the manufacturing of product while maintaining productivity and on-time delivery. As an injection mold operator, you would operate a press to produce molded product per engineering standards. Once the parts are molded, you would inspect the parts to ensure they meet quality standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of injection molding experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to set up machines and dry/test material.
  • Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges for visual and dimensional inspections.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
  • Ability to read and speak English.
  • Capable of lifting up to 55 lbs.
  • Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee or Refugee).

Responsibilities

  • Set up and run injection mold machinery, including downloading and running programs.
  • Monitor part quality and remove excess material.
  • Part mark and package finished products.
  • Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
