About The Position

National Trade Supply is seeking an injection mold operator for their Manufacturing division in Greenwood, Indiana. This role involves running and monitoring machines that produce fridge filters. The position is a direct hire, full-time role with a compensation of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. The initial schedule is Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, transitioning to Tuesday - Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM after training. Occasional overtime is available.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, and equivalent experience
Basic measuring & math Skills
Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Desire to participate in continuous improvement activities and on-the-job training to enhance skills
Ability to visually identify quality discrepancies
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Experience troubleshooting injection molding equipment
Average oral and written communication skills
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

2+ years of injection molding experience in a fast-paced, diverse molding and assembly facility.

Responsibilities

Running and monitoring machines that produce fridge filters.
Resolve issues affecting efficiency including material outages, machine downtime, and operator performance and scheduling.
Make work assignments to accomplish the schedule and to achieve maximum labor efficiency.
Notify appropriate management team members of issues and problems that will affect the operation.
Monitor WIP inventory to ensure proper levels.
Ensure that quality standards are met on a department wide basis.
Ensure that production reporting is done accurately for the department.
