About The Position

The Injection GL position is responsible for supporting production operations while ensuring product safety and quality. Duties include preparing production paperwork, monitoring machine operation, performing quality checks, identifying and reporting nonconformities, documenting machine performance, maintaining printers and labelers, packing and labeling boxes, preparing shift handoff paperwork, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The role operates on the D team from 6:30 p.m. to 6:45 a.m.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Ensure product safety and quality while performing assigned duties.
• Prepare production paperwork for machine start-up and operation.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure parts are collected into storage boxes and counted correctly.
• Pull shots for quality checks after machine restarts or as needed.
• Identify nonconformities and inform the Shift QA.
• Evaluate product quality and conformance with established standards.
• Report food safety and quality problems or concerns.
• Evaluate and document machine performance.
• Maintain ink in printers and labels in labelers; un-jam assemblers as needed.
• Tape boxes shut, label boxes, and stack them for shipment.
• Prepare end-of-shift paperwork for the following shift, noting problems or exceptions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, and sorting duties as necessary.
• Perform duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures.
• Follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties requested by a supervisor.
