The Ingredient Receiver Rail Operator is responsible for the unloading of trucks and railcars, operating a locomotive/track mobile, setting up railcars for unloading, completing paperwork and inventories, operating receiving equipment safely, and maintaining housekeeping in assigned areas and around the control room. This role involves working in various environments including hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold conditions with exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. The operator must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required by demand scheduling, and work in elevated areas while following all safety procedures. Communication with operations, customers, and vendors, both orally and in writing, is also a key part of the role. The position requires adherence to all Tyson Health and Safety protocols and Biosecurity Guidelines, including an agreement to avoid avian species.
