About The Position

Baldwin Richardson Foods is a full-service liquid products supplier and strategic partner to the food and beverage industry. They combine formulation expertise and unique packaging options with robust processing capabilities to produce high-quality sauces, toppings, syrups, fillings, and shelf-stable beverages for Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs), Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands, and food service companies. The company also manufactures and markets Mrs. Richardson's dessert sauces and Nance's mustards/condiments, in addition to producing finished goods for the private label sector. This role is located at their Macedon, NY facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • The ability to operate a forklift (prior experience preferred) and complete the internal certification program.
  • The ability to effectively read the cook cards, which are written in the English language, and complete batch paperwork.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to demonstrate basic mathematical competencies including, but not limited to, addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication of both fractions and whole numbers, and converting units of measurement.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which includes fluctuation in heat, moisture, and noise.
  • Wear Food Manufacturing GMP Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - hard hat, hairnet (head and beard if applicable), steel toes shoes/boots, and face mask.
  • Display the ability to multi-task and perform essential job duties with a sense of urgency.
  • Due to SQF regulations, all employees must be able to fluently read, write, and converse in the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Batches food product in accordance with Cook Cards and process instructions.
  • Lifts and pours ingredients and raw materials into kettles and processing equipment/machine, for the line.
  • Verifies that all materials used are correct for product being produced by checking Cook Cards.
  • Setup of equipment for processing operations in accordance with product specifications.
  • Assists in the cleaning of kettles and batch systems, including pumps, utensils, and general area cleaning.
  • Completes all required batch paperwork accurately.
  • Adheres to safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, and maintains food safety standards.
