About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Mixes product ingredients according to approved formula.
  • Collects samples and inspects ingredient mixtures for quality requirements and machine efficiencies.
  • Perform continuous Inspection of ingredient contamination and possible foreign material.
  • Documents and records ingredient use and batch information.
  • Inputs all information into Infinity and completes all records and reports.
  • Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes mixing equipment.
  • Operates lift trucks as needed.
  • Relieves equipment operators as needed.
  • Attends and participates in all annual, departmental, and job specific required training and monthly informational meetings.
  • Communicates any problems or changes in production or quality to supervisor and appropriate personnel.
  • Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process in order to ensure a quality operation.
  • Keeps area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
  • Helps to build and promote a strong “Teamwork” environment in each individual work group, the Factory, and the Company.
  • Participates in continuous improvement process.
  • Ensure all batches meet quality & batch specifications
  • Ensure work area is maintained in 5S condition
  • Ensure all ingredients are properly returned to storage upon completion of production.
  • Must adhere to the McCain Code of Conduct.
  • The employee may be required to successfully complete the orientation and training provided during the first ninety- (90) days of employment.
