Join our team as an Engineer in Transport Infrastructure Works Supervision (bridges and structures, roadways, electrotechnics, and road engineering).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 3 years of experience in supervision or execution of works in bridges and structures and/or in the field of infrastructure and roadways.
  • Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Completed construction site safety course (ASP).
  • Possess a Class 5 driver's license and have access to a car.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the standards and procedures of the Ministère des Transports du Québec is an asset.
  • Completed various training courses provided by the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) or successfully completed certain training required by the MTQ (Construction and Repair of Structures, STC-201, STC-102) - an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site supervision for transport infrastructure (bridges and structures, roadways) according to client requirements, and prepare plans and specifications to ensure work meets project objectives safely.
  • Participate in site meetings and conduct qualitative and quantitative controls of work and its implementation.
  • Measure executed works, compile quantities, and prepare documents required for payment requests, as well as write daily reports.
  • Coordinate work supervision with our teams.
  • Assist the project manager in managing changes, preparing amendments, and documenting work through memos.
  • Write notices.
  • Occasionally assist in the preparation of project plans, specifications, and estimates.
  • All other tasks related to the job.
