Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (building engineering, civil engineering, or any other equivalent training).
  • Hold the title of CPI (Candidate to the Engineering Profession) or be in the process of obtaining the title of engineer from the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec).
  • Excellent command of French, both oral and written.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant experience in building structure (in consulting engineering, internship, or employment) is a significant asset. Graduates and early-career individuals are also invited to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and production of plans and specifications for building structures (steel, concrete, and wood), in compliance with the Building Code, current standards, and project guidelines.
  • Participate in client meetings to propose solutions adapted to their needs.
  • Perform surveys of existing installations.
  • Carry out studies, design calculations, and technical modeling.
  • Write technical reports.
  • Conduct field visits and participate in certain stages of work supervision.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to develop your skills and ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Perform any other related tasks.
