Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field
- Be proficient with design software used for bridges and civil structures in Québec (Advanced Design America, CSIBridge, or SAFI)
- Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Have at least 8 years of relevant experience
- Be able to communicate effectively in French (spoken and written)
Responsibilities
- Carrying out structural design for bridges and civil engineering structures.
- Defining technical solutions, preparing design drawings, and drafting specifications.
- Performing the calculations and verifications required to ensure sound structural design.
- Reviewing drawings and plans to ensure compliance with the project specifications.
- Participating in the preparation of service proposals.
- Coordinating bridge and civil structure projects.
- Supervising the work of engineers and technicians, and supporting project managers.
- Coordinating technical aspects with other disciplines and developing innovative solutions.
