The Mass Transit, Rail Systems & Telecom practice currently offers an excellent full‑time opportunity for a meticulous, performance‑oriented Electrical Engineer who is looking to grow within complex and diverse projects. This position provides a cross‑functional view of all disciplines involved in transportation projects. You will work on exciting projects involving various types of cable routing (duct banks, conduits, trenches, trays) integrated into diverse infrastructures: bridges, tunnels, railways, elevated structures, etc. This is a unique opportunity to contribute within a dynamic, fast‑growing team and to take part in innovative transportation projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of design experience.
  • Functional bilingualism (French/English).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the railway sector (a significant asset).
  • Initiative, dynamism, and innovative thinking.
  • Practical knowledge of CAD software: AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review cable routing plans and specifications in a BIM environment for the following systems: 25 kV electrical distribution Telecommunications Railway signaling Traffic light signaling
  • Participate in and carry out complete design work based on preliminary concepts and calculations: Determination of conduit diameters Location of cable trenches Analysis of cable routes based on obstacles and multidisciplinary constraints (drainage, railway, civil engineering, architecture, etc.) Production of 2D and 3D CAD drawings
  • Actively participate in project meetings.
  • Be responsible for managing consulting mandates within your discipline.
  • Ensure follow‑up on work progress and schedules through to commissioning.
