About The Position

Sous la responsabilité du Responsable automation pour le département EPP municipal, vous concevrez et mettrez en œuvre des systèmes de contrôle complexes pour asservir des procédés de traitement d'eau, de la conception initiale jusqu'à la mise en route. Reporting to the Automation Leader within our EPP Municipal department, you will design, implement, and commission sophisticated control systems that optimize water treatment processes from concept to operation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Minimum of five to ten years of relevant experience in industrial automation.
Proven expertise in designing automation systems for machines and industrial processes
Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Schneider, or other platforms)
Experience with human-machine interfaces (HMI) and SCADA systems
Strong knowledge of industrial networking and control electrical systems.
Fluency in French (oral and written)
Advanced English proficiency for effective communication with teams and external partners during on-site assignments.
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
High sense of responsibility and accountability
Dynamic and proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative control concepts and strategies
Architect robust automation systems tailored to complex water treatment applications
Design intuitive human-machine interfaces that enhance operational efficiency
Conduct comprehensive electrical integration and power engineering analyses
Author detailed functional specifications and technical documentation
Contribute to departmental programming standards and best practices
Oversee on-site installations to ensure seamless system integration
Lead factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT)
Commission systems and conduct performance validation aligned with project requirements
Partner with clients to drive continuous improvement and ensure optimal product integration.
