About The Position

Progesys Inc. is a recognized firm offering complete solutions for project management and transition to operations. The company has been based in Laval (Canada) since 2002 and has offices in the United States, the Middle East, Asia, and South America.

Progesys is looking for a Proposal Engineer to support our in-house project teams, in Canada and abroad, in a variety of sectors: mining and metals, energy, infrastructure, petrochemicals, pulp and paper, aluminum, fertilizers, etc. Our teams specialise in project management, construction management and commissioning.

As a Proposal Engineer, you will play a key role in the strategic process that aligns our clients' needs with our operational capabilities, contributing directly to our success in managing major industrial projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Experience in industrial project management.
• Understanding of the various stages of an EPCM project (engineering, construction, commissioning, etc.), particularly in the mining, energy and other major industrial sectors.
• Relevant field experience.
• Excellent technical writing skills to produce project documents, including procedures, manuals and guides.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French, essential for communicating with clients and colleagues internationally.

Responsibilities

• Assess incoming opportunities to determine their alignment with our expertise and organisational objectives.
• Design, structure and write proposals and service offers tailored to specific customer needs, working closely with business development teams, project managers, experts and other stakeholders to meet customer expectations.
• Updating the existing database (templates, guides, processes, etc.) to improve the performance and quality of our proposals.
• Participating in the updating of quality standards, health and safety practices and internal documents to ensure that project execution complies with the highest standards.
