Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
Recognized member of the O.I.Q.
Experience in the hydroelectric, energy production equipment, or related manufacturing fields.
Demonstrated experience and leadership in technical coordination of engineering and subcontracting activities.
Proven verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
Legal status to work in Canada is required.

Responsibilities

Ensures effective communication between engineering, installation, and project control groups.
Organizes and facilitates internal meetings for technical activities and design reviews.
Ensures stakeholders correctly interpret technical specifications and expectations.
Defines the technical and supply plan strategy in cooperation with the relevant project manager and the procurement department.
Coordinates all technical documentation.
Participates in the selection, negotiation, and technical discussions with key suppliers and subcontractors.
Responsible for ensuring that engineering and procurement deliveries are made on time and according to established quality criteria for all systems related to their projects.
In collaboration with the project director, analyzes, defines, and implements a contingency plan to correct any anomalies or deviations that could impact their projects.
