About The Position

Altus Biologics manages administrative aspects of physicians’ biologic therapy practices and provides IV and injection therapy to patients with autoimmune diseases in an in-office setting. The Infusion RN provides primary patient care and interacts regularly with patients. The role includes calculating drug doses, reconstituting and administering medications, and assisting with other duties according to established procedures. The nurse also helps manage the infusion suite’s daily operations and maintains supplies, equipment, drug inventory, and patient-care documentation in the EMR. The schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Active nursing license to practice in the work location.
Active BLS or ACLS certification.
Strong IV skills.

Nice To Haves

Infusion experience.
Proficiency in Google G-Suite.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure proper patient care.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the infusion suite.
Prepare and administer medication.
Control and maintain supplies and equipment.
Manage procurement of drug inventory for patient appointments.
Complete administrative paperwork to document patient care in the EMR system.
Conduct drug calculations and reconstitute medications.
Assist as needed in other capacities according to established procedures.
Adhere to Altus Biologics’ Code of Conduct, compliance policies, and applicable laws and regulations; report concerns about compliance or business practices.
