About The Position

The outpatient Infusion Nurse has knowledge of oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths, and all venous access devices. The Infusion Nurse applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings. Requirements

  • Nursing degree/diploma
  • Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 2 cancer-related CEs or OCN certification
  • 1 year of nursing experience
  • 1 year of oncology experience
  • Chemotherapy administration experience
