About The Position
As a Full-Time Infusion RN with Gastro Health, you will play a vital role in the care of patients living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Our Infusion Nurses interact with patients daily and provide compassionate, high-quality clinical care in a supportive outpatient setting. In this role, you will administer biologic infusion therapies while collaborating closely with physicians and the broader care team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered treatment. The shifts are Monday, Wednesday & Thursday from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, offering a 30-hour workweek.
Requirements
- Current Florida RN license (required)
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Strong IV insertion skills required
- BLS required
- Excellent communication, organization, and patient-care skills
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
- Biologic infusion experience strongly preferred
- ACLS preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer biologics, iron, injectables, and hydration medications in an outpatient infusion setting
- Assess patients before, during, and after infusions
- Monitor for and respond to infusion reactions or adverse events
- Accurately document infusion records and clinical information in eCW
- Coordinate care with physicians and clinical team members
- Provide education and reassurance to patients and families
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in a calm, professional environment
