About The Position

The objective of the Infusion Payment Poster is responsible for processing and posting incoming payments, reconciling receipts, and adjusting patient accounts. This is a full-time, in-person position at the office located in Burr Ridge, IL.
Schedule: Monday- Friday (in-person)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Required
• Experience in medical payment posting practices required
• Proof of current vaccinations, including recommended boosters, commonly required for those working with immunocompromised patients, including measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis A & B, influenza, and COVID-19.
• Requests for accommodations/exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis, consistent with applicable laws.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Microsoft Suite and Outlook Preferred
• Experience in CPR+ and/or CareTend preferred

Responsibilities

• Daily batch posting of patient and Insurance payments.
• Creates insurance and patient payment deposits weekly.
• Verifies expected reimbursement and adjustment based upon the provided contract list.
• Submits underpayments and overpayment information to appropriate Collector for follow-up.
• Researches and resolves missing Explanation of benefits or payments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
