Responsibilities
We’re excited to welcome a Payment Processor to our amazing team at KidsCare Home Health! If you're detail-oriented, organized, and love keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this is the role for you. In this position, you'll play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments for home health services across a variety of payer sources.

Established in 2003, we are a pediatric home health agency serving children with special needs across the country. Our focus is on nursing, speech, physical, and occupational therapy as well as providing case management for children up to 18 years of age. Founded upon the principle that patient care/therapy is most effective when it is one-on-one, set in a familiar environment and includes family member and caregiver involvement, the organization has grown from its original roots in Dallas Texas to a multi-state operation. Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• A knack for learning quickly and picking up new systems
• Top-tier customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• A commitment to high ethical standards and professionalism
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred
• 1+ year of experience with reconciliation or balancing preferred

Nice To Haves

• Medical billing experience is a big plus and will be prioritized

Responsibilities

• Apply and reconcile incoming payments using multiple systems
• Review and understand payer documents and payment explanations
• Process claims, resolve rejections, and distribute balances to secondary/tertiary payers
• Research missing documents and apply manual and electronic payments
• Keep accounts accurate and up to date with daily reconciliation
• Support Medicaid eligibility checks and notify families and providers as needed
• Collaborate with other departments and provide top-notch customer service
• Communicate payment issues or patterns to leadership
• Tackle special projects and other tasks as assigned
