About The Position

We're launching a new oncology service line and seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Manager to help build and lead a patient-centered program that delivers exceptional cancer care across the continuum. As the Oncology Nurse Director, you'll serve as both a clinical leader and operational partner, helping create an environment where patients, families, and caregivers feel supported from diagnosis through survivorship. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
  • Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state (required)
  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification (required or must be obtained within designated timeframe)
  • Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Current ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous oncology nursing experience preferred
  • Infusion nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all clinical care within the oncology clinic to maximize patient safety, quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement and satisfaction.
  • Utilize the nursing process: Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation.
  • Lead and support: EPIC In Basket communication, order entry coordination, patient education, individualized care planning, and appointment coordination and follow-up.
  • Coordinate transitions across services including: Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Chemotherapy and Infusion Services, Palliative Care, and Survivorship Programs.
