About The Position

Local Infusion is seeking a part-time Infusion Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care at its infusion center in Asheville, North Carolina. The role supports the company’s growth and focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered infusion therapy. The ideal candidate is comfortable working autonomously and has experience starting IVs and working with biologic drugs. The role offers predictable hours, autonomy, a manageable workload, and a 3:1 patient-to-clinician ratio.

The schedule is flexible, with 8-hour shifts, three days per week. There may be an opportunity to move to full-time as center volume increases, anticipated 2–3 months after the start date. Part-time employees receive first priority, if desired, for open full-time positions.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• Excellent IV skills.
• Experience and strong familiarity using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Ability or experience working autonomously.
• Experience starting IVs and working with biologic drugs is identified as ideal.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• Infusion therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patients’ health status.
• Deliver infusions or injections according to prescribed protocols and organizational guidelines.
• Help maintain medical inventory and supplies.
• Communicate with referring or prescribing providers about order clarification, patient status, and plans of care.
• Provide onsite supervision for all patients.
