About The Position

Seeking experienced RNs for home care in Traverse City and surrounding areas. This role involves providing in-home infusion therapy to patients from pediatric to geriatric. The ideal candidate will be proficient in peripheral IV access, PICC/Port management, and possess strong comprehensive assessment skills. Responsibilities also include wound care, ostomy care, foot care, and medication management, with training available. The nurse must be able to work independently, manage their time effectively, and have excellent communication skills. Familiarity with EMR documentation and Michigan nursing standards is required. The role requires comfort driving in all weather conditions within a 60-mile radius. Brightstar Care is an independently owned and operated, Joint Commission accredited agency serving Northern Michigan.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted Michigan RN license.
• Valid driver's license with proof of current auto insurance.
• CPR certified.
• One-year recent RN experience within a hospital, facility, or clinic.
• Familiarity with EMR documentation.
• Familiarity with Michigan nursing standards.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS preferred.
