Full-Time Infusion Nurse (RN) Float - Southern NJ
About The Position
Local Infusion is seeking an Infusion Nurse (RN) Float for their Southern NJ location. This is a full-time position focused on providing exceptional, patient-centered care in specialty infusion therapy. The role involves direct patient care, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care, and contributing to the company's growth. The ideal candidate will have experience working autonomously, starting IVs, and working with biologic drugs. This position offers predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload with a consistent 3:1 patient to clinician ratio, allowing clinicians to focus more on patient care and less on administrative tasks. Requirements
- Current RN licensure in New Jersey, and open to getting licensure in another state
- Experience in outpatient infusion therapy, working in a clinical setting, seeing multiple patients at one time
- Comfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
- Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturday's a month

Responsibilities
- Assess and document the health status of the patient
- Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
- Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
- Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
- Provide onsite supervision for all patients
