About The Position
Local Infusion is seeking a Part-Time Infusion Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care at their infusion center in Colonie, NY. The Infusion Nurse will be responsible for ensuring patients receive the highest level of care in infusion therapy. This role offers a flexible schedule with 8-hour shifts, a predictable workload with a 3:1 patient to clinician ratio, and the opportunity to be at the forefront of healthcare innovation. The position has the potential to move to full-time within 2-3 months as center volume increases. Requirements
- Current RN licensure in New York
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
- Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Part-time with the potential to move to full-time
Nice To Haves
- ACLS & PALS Certification
- Experience working autonomously
- Experience starting IVs
- Experience working with biologic drugs
Responsibilities
- Assess and document the health status of the patient
- Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
- Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
- Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
- Provide onsite supervision for all patients
