About The Position

Rocky Mountain MS Clinic is seeking a PRN Infusion Nurse to join their team and deliver exceptional, patient-centered care. The clinic is recognized as a Center for Comprehensive MS Care by the National MS Society and has been providing quality care for MS and other neurological disorders for over 35 years. They are an established leader in MS and neurological care, conducting cutting-edge research and offering patients access to the latest therapies and clinical studies. The infusion center is staffed with neurologists and BSN and MS certified RNs dedicated to maintaining a high standard of care in a comfortable, supportive environment.

Requirements

At least one year of registered nursing experience
Rockstar IV skills
Active, unrestricted nursing license in their state of practice
BLS certification required
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
One year of current nursing experience required

Nice To Haves

Previous infusion experience is a plus
Two years of nursing experience preferred
One year of experience with infusion therapy, including patient assessment skills, venous access skills and emergency patient care, preferred

Responsibilities

Provides infusion and other skilled nursing care to patients such as patient assessments, patient/caregiver education, responding to emergency patient needs.
Exceptional time management skills, good clinical judgement, and the ability to multi-task
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times; Strictly follows HIPAA laws and regulations
Participates in staff meetings and in-services as required
Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and patients
Abides by organizational policies and procedures as well as state/federal rules/regulations
