About The Position

Join MD Anderson as an Infusion Clinical Nurse and make a meaningful impact while caring for pediatric and Young Adult patients at one of the world’s leading cancer centers. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide specialized infusion care, including the administration and monitoring of chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products, while building meaningful relationships with patients and families. The hours are 4 10 hours shifts Monday - Friday 8am - 6:30pm, rotating day off during the week. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent oncology experience.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing
RN – Registered Nurse - State Licensure: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support, if working in the following department: Nrsg Post Anesthesia Care Unit (600160)
All clinical nurses with less than one year of registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.
The ability to satisfy and maintain all requirements necessary to ensure the continued security and integrity of such infrastructure is a condition of hire and continued employment.

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for the provision of care to patients and families consistent with the unit’s values, beliefs, and behaviors to meet the demands of the future.
