About The Position

The Network Administrator III is a senior-level technical position responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and security of the organization’s network infrastructure. This role serves as a subject matter expert across firewall and switching environments, wireless networking, email security, endpoint management, and web security. The Network Administrator III provides Tier II/III helpdesk support and collaborates with the Infrastructure Manager to ensure the reliability, availability, and security of all network-connected systems and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree - Computer Science, Informatics or similar 4-year degree OR 3-5 years related work experience in lieu of degree
  • Required 3-5 years’ experience Network Administration and Security Administration
  • Required 3 years’ experience with Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Required 2 years’ experience with Active Directory, Azure AD sync

Responsibilities

  • Administer, secure, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless systems, and web/email security platforms.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and respond to security threats to ensure reliable and secure operations.
  • Manage endpoint and server patching, system updates, and device configurations to maintain compliance and minimize vulnerabilities.
  • Provide Tier II/III technical support for network, hardware, software, and device-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of network and IT systems aligned with business needs.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, and asset inventories.
  • Lead or support IT projects, system upgrades, and hardware refresh initiatives across the organization.
  • Deploy and support end-user devices, peripherals, and mobile technologies, including participation in on-call support as needed.
