The role develops and maintains automation using Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, Python, Linux, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD pipelines. It contributes to engineering controls for testing, peer review, release, and promotion across environments and supports reusable modules, playbooks, scripts, pipeline integrations, and automated remediation. The engineer builds and improves operational telemetry using Splunk, Dynatrace, and related observability platforms, including searches, dashboards, alerts, event correlation, dependency analysis, and service-health views. The role supports the design and validation of high-availability, failover, disaster-recovery, and recovery-testing approaches, including automated recovery validation where appropriate. This position troubleshoots and resolves complex infrastructure issues, performs root-cause and performance analysis, and implements corrective, preventive, and automated remediation. The engineer contributes technical expertise to design reviews, build-readiness reviews, operational-readiness reviews, and production-readiness activities; independently delivers moderately complex technical work; collaborates across teams; and communicates recommendations to technical stakeholders.
