About The Position

The JF Petroleum Group is a leading provider of turn-key solutions in the North American fueling infrastructure industry, serving retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets, and emergency power customers. This sales position focuses on growing commercial sales of Equipment, Construction, and Service. The role involves extensive collaboration with internal Service, Construction, Process, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely proposal delivery and processing. Compensation includes a base salary and participation in a sales commission plan.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Candidate must be willing and able to travel locally.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Bid-Spec/Contractor Market sales experience preferred (minimum of 3 years of relative experience).
  • Technical aptitude / experience desired.
  • A high degree of product knowledge specific to our industry and/or a demonstrated willingness to quickly learn the fundamental products and services offered by JF Petroleum Group. These products / services include but are not limited to the following: Commercial Fuel System construction, Commercial Fuel System equipment, Commercial Fuel System break/fix services, Commercial Fuel System compliance & inspection services, "Bid-Spec” / Contractor turnkey Commercial Fuel System services.

Responsibilities

  • Growing commercial sales of Equipment, Construction, and Service.
  • Working extensively with internal Service, Construction and Process teams and Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery of proposals and internal processing of proposals.
  • Developing and effectively delivering and closing on customer proposals.
  • Applying proven discovery processes and skills to determine customer needs.
  • Developing proposals which successfully balance customer needs with JF Petroleum profitability requirements.
  • Successfully negotiating and closing on customer proposals.
  • Following up on and closing assigned sales leads.
  • Developing and managing relationships with customers.
