About The Position

Trissential is partnering with a client to find a results-driven Infrastructure Project Manager to lead large-scale infrastructure projects across multiple locations. This role involves managing high-impact deployments, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders, and taking ownership of project execution and financial performance. The position offers the opportunity to lead enterprise-scale network infrastructure projects, drive highly visible initiatives with significant business impact and executive-level engagement, and work alongside network engineers, IT leaders, facilities teams, and external vendors. The role involves managing diverse projects with cutting-edge network technologies and site infrastructure deployments, offering a flexible hybrid work model and opportunities for career growth in project governance, financial management, and large-scale infrastructure delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing infrastructure, network deployment, or large-scale technology projects
• Proven success delivering projects with budgets exceeding $1M
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide or multi-site implementations across geographically dispersed locations
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, WAN environments, and LAN environments
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project and Project Web App (PWA)
• Advanced Excel skills for financial tracking, reporting, forecasting, and analysis
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP for reporting and project financial management
• Experience operating within a PMO-driven environment with structured governance and reporting standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to project deployment sites
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience

• Experience managing large-scale network deployments across multiple physical locations
• Background supporting utilities, enterprise IT organizations, field operations, manufacturing, or infrastructure-intensive environments
• Experience leading large, geographically dispersed technical teams and third-party vendor relationships
• Strong understanding of enterprise network modernization initiatives
• PMP Certification preferred (active or expired certification should be noted)

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout
• Develop, maintain, and execute project plans, schedules, risks, issues, and deliverables
• Manage deployment activities involving routers, switches, firewalls, WAN/LAN connectivity, and physical site infrastructure
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, network engineering, facilities, leadership, and third-party vendors
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects while ensuring alignment to timeline, budget, and scope objectives
• Develop and manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, accrual tracking, and cost management
• Utilize SAP to extract, analyze, and report on project and financial data
• Leverage Microsoft Project and Project Web App (PWA) to maintain project schedules and governance documentation
• Ensure compliance with PMO standards, reporting requirements, and organizational governance practices
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, executive updates, and regular project status communications
• Travel to deployment locations throughout Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin to support key milestones and project success
