About The Position

Insight is seeking an Infrastructure Program Manager for its Client Solutions team. This account-level, client-facing program management role oversees a portfolio of client engagements and works in a matrixed model with the Account Principal and Enterprise Architect. Project Managers manage detailed engagement execution; the Program Manager is accountable for outcomes, governance, economics, risk, cross-project alignment, and continuity across the client project portfolio. The role focuses on infrastructure project implementation and consulting services delivery rather than primarily operations-focused work such as managed services or service desk environments. The Program Manager leads account governance and executive engagement, maintains integrated delivery and financial oversight, coordinates matrixed and multi-vendor teams, and ensures work is properly authorized and controlled. The role also establishes program-level adoption criteria, supports client capability and change management, promotes knowledge reuse, and helps identify aligned follow-on opportunities. The position is remote, with travel of up to 10% for client meetings, team events, and related engagements. Insight describes itself as a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator with expertise in cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and intelligent edge. It reports more than 14,000 teammates globally and $8.2 billion in 2025 revenue. The company highlights opportunities to upskill, earn promotions, and advance a career, and identifies Hunger, Heart, and Harmony as its core values.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in project management or delivery management in technology services or a related professional services field.
  • At least 5 years of direct experience in enterprise-scale program leadership, client-facing governance, or multi-workstream project management.
  • Proven accountability for engagement economics, utilization, revenue recognition, risk management, and client outcomes.
  • Ability to lead executive governance conversations, including difficult discussions involving delivery risk, scope, and engagement health.
  • PMP or equivalent program management certification required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for client meetings, team events, and related engagements.
  • Demonstrated experience with SOW construction, contract clarity review, formal change control, and commercial risk assessment.
  • Experience leading multi-vendor, matrixed delivery teams across complex enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with adoption planning, organizational change considerations, and AI-enabled delivery workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Agile certification such as PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, or equivalent (listed as preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Define and run the account program governance framework, including Executive Steering Committees and Business Reviews.
  • Keep delivery activity aligned with the client’s strategic, financial, and executive priorities.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, delivery teams, the Enterprise Architect, and the Account Principal to make prioritization and trade-off decisions within a shared client-outcome framework.
  • Assist with tracking major milestones and ensure delivered services produce measurable business value recognized by the client.
  • Provide program context that improves the quality of follow-on opportunity shaping and scoping.
  • Build and maintain a single integrated view of delivery health across all active engagements.
  • Oversee prioritization, resource sequencing, milestone validation, and phase exit criteria across the portfolio.
  • Orchestrate capacity, dependencies, and resource continuity across matrixed and multi-vendor teams.
  • Synthesize engagement-level risks into an account-program risk view and lead escalation responses when needed.
  • Enforce governance standards and pause, redirect, or halt delivery when standards are not met.
  • Maintain a consolidated portfolio view of revenue, cost, utilization, margin, and realized rate across active engagements.
  • Support accurate revenue recognition by surfacing delivery and other risks.
  • Ensure work does not proceed without an executed Statement of Work or approved commercial authorization.
  • Require formal change control for material scope changes and evaluate their aggregate impact on the roadmap and economics.
  • Apply contract clarity review and improve forecast discipline over time.
  • Define program-level adoption criteria so completion reflects client adoption and value realization, not technical deployment alone.
  • Maintain a change and adoption view across engagements and remove organizational, process, and stakeholder barriers.
  • Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders when resistance threatens delivery outcomes.
  • Assess client capability at program start and confirm the client can operate and sustain delivered solutions at major milestones.
  • Manage the balance between building client self-sufficiency and preserving intentional managed services relationships.
  • Enforce a standard post-delivery debrief process so completed work produces reusable artifacts, diagrams, and runbooks.
  • Maintain a qualified strategic backlog for each assigned account, linked to client outcomes and delivery observations.
  • Partner with Sales, Client Solutions, and Delivery leadership to track aligned follow-on opportunities.
  • Evolve the delivery program management operating model based on account complexity, maturity, and lessons learned.
  • Coordinate across the Account Principal, Enterprise Architect, Project Managers, Sales, Practice, PMO, and Finance teams to keep delivery aligned.
  • Ensure assumptions, constraints, dependencies, and risks are visible before work advances.
  • Create alignment across matrixed teams that do not report directly to the Client Solutions team.
  • Maintain one coordinated client-facing delivery motion across multiple contributors and workstreams.
  • Own and manage a portfolio view of utilization, revenue recognition, forecast accuracy, adoption progress, and delivery health.
  • Work with the Account Principal to track trends and identify margin leakage early enough to take corrective action.
  • Report risks, exceptions, and performance trends with clear corrective recommendations.

Benefits

  • Salary up to $155,000 depending on experience.
  • 15% quarterly bonus structure.
  • Full benefits.
  • Ability to work from another location, including an international destination, for up to 30 consecutive calendar days per year.
  • Access to 11 Teammate Resource Groups.
  • Opportunities to upskill, earn promotions, and elevate your career.
