About The Position

3M is seeking an Infrastructure IT Analyst for its team located in Ontario. The Impact You’ll Make in this Role The Infrastructure IT Analyst supports IT infrastructure and operational technologies for a busy, business-critical Tier 1 distribution center and regional sales branch. This role is responsible for supporting end-user devices, warehouse technologies, network connectivity, and key business applications that enable shipping, receiving, inventory, sales, and related operations. The position requires the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across a geographically distributed team, using strong analytical, troubleshooting, and coordination skills to maintain reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology (completed and verified prior to start) and Five (5 ) years’ experience in Information Technology in a manufacturing, private, public, government, or military environment.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) and Eight (8) years’ experience in Information Technology in a manufacturing, distribution center, private, public, government, or military environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) or more years of IT support experience in a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment
  • Experience supporting warehouse technologies including Zebra and RF devices, Microsoft and Android environments, and enterprise infrastructure including networking and security hardware and software
  • Experience using and supporting Microsoft PCs and servers, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, and SAP
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Application development skills are useful, but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Provide local hardware support for workstations, laptops, tablets, Zebra and HP printers, mobile scanning devices, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Provide local software support for Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suites, and security tools.
  • Support business-critical technologies and applications used in distribution center and regional sales branch operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory, and sales processes.
  • Coordinate project work impacting the site, working both independently and as a member of a geographically distributed team.
  • Maintain compliance with IT standards, security requirements, and operational procedures.
