About The Position

Leads the engineering, modernization, implementation, lifecycle management, security, and operational enablement of enterprise End User Computing (EUC) platforms and services. Translates Platform Services strategy into executable plans that deliver a secure, resilient, intuitive, and scalable teammate computing experience. Leads engineering managers and experienced individual contributors across Windows build, endpoint configuration, vulnerability and problem management, and EUC platform engineering. Advances software-defined, product-oriented platform engineering through automation, infrastructure and configuration as code, CI/CD, automated controls, observability, self-service, and reusable platform capabilities, while reducing manual operational work and improving reliability, security, engineering velocity, teammate experience, and measurable service outcomes. The role directs engineering and support enablement for endpoint platforms, including physical devices, persistent and non-persistent virtual desktops, Windows images, endpoint configurations, browsers, productivity applications, and supporting infrastructure. It oversees image and endpoint engineering, application packaging, hardware lifecycle engineering, updates, testing automation, and platform transitions. It also directs vulnerability remediation, security baseline and encryption compliance, remediation automation, exception processes, problem management, and reporting improvements in partnership with Cyber, Risk, and control functions. The position establishes engineering standards, architectural guardrails, governance, change controls, documentation, and operational readiness requirements. It collaborates with architecture, cybersecurity, identity and access management, network, cloud and hosting, service management, application owners, business technology teams, vendors, and support organizations. It leads complex endpoint incident escalations and systemic problem resolution, monitors operational and engineering measures, and communicates strategy, risk, capacity, performance, and delivery status to senior technology leadership. The role also ensures compliance with security, risk, audit, regulatory, records, change, and technology-management requirements; plans workforce capacity, vendors, finances, priorities, and resources; and builds organizational capability through coaching, succession planning, performance management, cross-training, and staff development. Truist will not sponsor work visa status or employment authorization or provide immigration-related support for this position.
