About The Position

FM is hiring multiple Infrastructure Engineering Co-Ops to join our team for the Spring 2027 Term January-June! This US-based remote opportunity may require periodic travel to our corporate headquarters in Johnston, RI, which is part of the greater Providence area. With a large college-age population, Providence offers a vibrant arts and entertainment scenes that includes local theatre and music, collegiate and minor league sporting events, and excellent restaurants, and we’re not that far from the breathtaking RI beaches!

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student studying Computer Science or related degree program during the Spring 2027 Semester.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure, Operating systems, Databases, and basic network concepts.
  • Knowledge of scripting and programming languages.
  • Knowledge and/or awareness of Agile and DevOps methodologies and concepts.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new technologies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Excellent Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Must be comfortable working across multiple teams

Responsibilities

  • Crafting, integrating, and managing complex systems.
  • Producing high-quality solutions and improving existing technology systems through orchestration and automation.
  • Participating in mutual understanding and continuously evaluating processes.
  • Enabling our customer base by focusing on how systems are compiled, released, and run in the environment.
