About The Position

This co-op position offers the opportunity to work on innovative technologies deployed in airports worldwide. The role involves analyzing CT scan data for aviation security applications, developing and utilizing software tools for image processing and evaluation, and supporting image analysis initiatives with advanced computational techniques. The co-op will also test and evaluate CT reconstruction software performance, assist with image quality optimization and system tuning, document findings, and present technical results to engineering teams. Collaboration with experienced engineers on research, development, and product improvement projects is a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related discipline
Experience programming in Python or MATLAB/Octave
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate technical findings effectively

Nice To Haves

Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or DSP exposure
Linux experience
GPU programming experience
Interest in imaging systems and computer vision

Responsibilities
