About The Position

JPMorgan Chase is seeking Infrastructure Engineers to analyze user infrastructure software requirements, determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints, and confer with application and product engineers to provide technical solutions. The role involves delivering technical solutions in partnership with other engineers, continuously learning new infrastructure technologies, and supporting production technical release windows. The position also requires leading a team of engineers in a single location with remote leadership and occasionally working outside of core business hours for system downtime and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study.
  • 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Infrastructure Engineer, Database and Devops Engineer, Implementation Specialist, Database Administrator, Infra Technology Specialist, or related occupation.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Enterprise database technologies including SQL and No-SQL databases, Postgres, EDB PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, and Cockroach.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Oracle Exadata for high throughput database operations.
  • Five (5) years of experience with services on multi cloud infrastructure including AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and Private Cloud as a part of Transformation to Public Cloud.
  • Five (5) years of experience with DevOps engineering practices providing professional services to business partners in Cloud Migration.
  • Five (5) years of experience with data analytics and ETL tools including Informatica and DataBricks to support Data migration to DataLakes.
  • Five (5) years of experience utilizing Kubernetes orchestration tool to deploy applications on Rapid scale with full resiliency.
  • Five (5) years of experience utilizing Python scripting as part of automation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user infrastructure software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Confer with application and product engineers to provide technical solutions for technology programs.
  • Deliver technical solutions in partnership with application and product engineers.
  • Continuously learn new infrastructure technologies to provide up to date technology solutions.
  • Support production technical release windows.
  • Lead a team of engineers in a single location with remote leadership.
  • Occasionally work outside of core business hours to match system downtime and maintenance windows.
