About The Position

Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for the design, deployment, configuration, validation, and operational support of ServiceNow infrastructure components across Development, Test, and Production environments. The engineer will work closely with Government stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and project leadership to ensure stable, resilient, and operationally ready ServiceNow infrastructure deployments aligned with approved architecture designs and enclave requirements. The position involves administering and supporting Linux-based infrastructure environments, developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, and supporting automation and repeatable deployment processes. Coordination with various teams for environment readiness, certificate installation, DNS validation, and identity federation testing is also a key part of the role. The engineer will perform smoke testing, readiness reviews, and infrastructure validation prior to production operations, monitor infrastructure health, and participate in architecture reviews and operational planning sessions. Maintaining documentation and coordinating with project management on risks and status reporting are also required. Support for infrastructure deployments within secure and enclave-based environments, including SCIF support, is necessary.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI W/ CI Poly (existing clearance required to start)
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience in enterprise environments
  • Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or similar Linux distributions
  • Experience managing Linux services, permissions, networking, storage, and system monitoring
  • Experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
  • Experience automating infrastructure deployments and operational processes
  • Experience supporting Development, Test, and Production environment deployments
  • Familiarity with backup, recovery, resiliency, and operational support processes
  • Experience troubleshooting infrastructure-related issues across complex environments
  • Understanding of secure enclave or classified environment operational requirements
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating across technical and Government stakeholder teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working within Agile or Scrum based delivery environments

  • Experience deploying and supporting ServiceNow infrastructure in enterprise or government environments
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and infrastructure components

Responsibilities

  • Design and support ServiceNow infrastructure architecture across Development, Test, and Production environments
  • Deploy, configure, and validate ServiceNow infrastructure components in non-production and production environments
  • Support infrastructure implementation activities including application, reverse proxy, and database tier deployment
  • Administer and support Linux based infrastructure environments supporting ServiceNow deployments
  • Perform Linux system configuration, troubleshooting, patching, log analysis, and performance tuning activities
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management
  • Support automation and repeatable deployment processes using IaC and configuration management best practices
  • Coordinate environment readiness activities including system access, enclave approvals, and user provisioning
  • Support certificate installation validation, DNS validation, and identity federation testing alongside customer stakeholders
  • Configure and validate backup, snapshot, and recovery capabilities to support resiliency and operational continuity
  • Perform smoke testing, readiness reviews, and infrastructure validation activities prior to production operations
  • Monitor infrastructure health and support ongoing stabilization, tuning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution efforts
  • Participate in architecture reviews, sprint activities, technical discussions, and operational planning sessions
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, deployment procedures, and operational support materials
  • Coordinate with project management and customer stakeholders on risks, dependencies, schedules, and status reporting
  • Support infrastructure deployments within secure and enclave based environments, including SCIF support when required
