About The Position

This position will be the Sr Engineer for a team responsible for ensuring workstation software packaging, deployments, vulnerability remediation, and security patching. In-Depth knowledge and experience of Microsoft Config Manager , Intune, and Patch MyPC for third party applications Strong experience using PowerShell and other scripting languages to develop and maintain scripts to automate day-to-day tasks.

Requirements

• In-Depth knowledge and experience of Microsoft Config Manager , Intune, and Patch MyPC for third party applications
• Strong experience using PowerShell and other scripting languages to develop and maintain scripts to automate day-to-day tasks.
• Experience with JAMF console and deploying security updates and remediate vulnerabilities on Mac devices
• Strong troubleshooting experience Microsoft Windows and Apple Operating Systems for Workstations, DNS , and Active Directory
• Good data analysis skills and reporting capabilities using Power Bi, Advanced Insights and other reporting tools
• Experience troubleshooting security tools on endpoints
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
• 5 years of relevant work experience is required.
• An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Citrix and Azure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Improve and maintain Windows workstation patching process and cycle.
• Actively verify and apply security patches.
• Develop and maintain documentation for Config Manager / Intune procedures and configuration of systems.
• Maintain and monitor Config Manager / Intune platform and client health on workstations and mitigate identified problems.
• Verify all endpoints are contained in Config Manager / Intune inventory and perform routine audits of workstations to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
• Create and deploy application deployment packages through Config Manager / Intune
• Develop and maintain PowerShell Scripts to automate day-to-day tasks.
• Drive vulnerability assessment and remediation work, including escalation support for workstation related issues.

• Plan, research, evaluate, design, and engineer the enterprise's technology infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting, cost estimates, justifications, and recommendations.
• Produces technical documentation, support and configuration.
• Manage, plan, and maintain technical platforms including upgrading systems.
• Monitor system performance and installs and configures hardware.
• Collaborate with other Job Families such as Project Managers, Architects, Solution Engineers, Technicians, Business Analysts to deliver consistent, reliable technology solutions that leverage AEP's technology standards, architectures and best practices.
