Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Endpoint Engineer with deep expertise in Apple Mac management, Jamf Pro, and modern endpoint management practices to join our Infrastructure & Operations team. This role will be responsible for designing, engineering, securing, and optimizing endpoint management solutions across a mixed Windows and macOS enterprise environment, with a strong emphasis on Mac lifecycle management and Jamf platform ownership. The ideal candidate brings a modern, Zero Trust mindset, strong automation skills, and experience integrating Jamf with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), and enterprise security tooling. This role reports to the Director, IT Infrastructure and Operations. This hybrid position will be based out of our Kansas City, Missouri office. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of endpoint engineering experience in an enterprise environment
  • 3+ years of Jamf Pro administration and Mac engineering
  • Strong experience with: macOS management at scale, Scripting (Bash preferred) and Application packaging and deployment
  • Experience integrating Jamf with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID
  • Knowledge of enterprise security tools (CrowdStrike, Defender, Zscaler, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and endpoint compliance controls
  • Strong understanding of device lifecycle management

Nice To Haves

  • Jamf certifications (Jamf 200/300/400)
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune (Mac + Windows endpoints)
  • Familiarity with Autopilot and modern Windows management
  • Experience with ServiceNow (CMDB, ITSM)
  • Understanding of software asset management practices
  • Exposure to developer workstation environments (Mac-heavy)

Responsibilities

  • Own and administer Jamf Pro platform (policies, profiles, patch management, reporting)
  • Design and implement Mac provisioning workflows (Automated Device Enrollment / DEP)
  • Manage macOS security posture including CIS alignment, FileVault, Gatekeeper, and system hardening
  • Develop and maintain Jamf policies, scripts, and extension attributes
  • Oversee macOS application packaging, deployment, and patching strategy
  • Integrate Jamf with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity and compliance alignment
  • Support Intune-based policy management and Conditional Access for macOS devices
  • Collaborate on Autopilot / Windows endpoint strategy where needed
  • Implement and enforce endpoint security controls aligned to Zero Trust principles
  • Partner with Information Security on: Endpoint detection and response (e.g., CrowdStrike), Web filtering / ZTNA (e.g., Zscaler), Compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS benchmarks)
  • Develop audit-ready documentation and reporting for macOS environment
  • Create and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python, or similar)
  • Streamline deployment, patching, and remediation workflows
  • Improve endpoint performance, user experience, and supportability
  • Act as escalation point for macOS-related issues for Desktop Support
  • Partner with ServiceNow teams to ensure: Accurate CMDB tracking, Efficient incident/request workflows
  • Participate in change management processes and CAB reviews
