The Infrastructure Engineer II serves as a senior technical resource responsible for supporting, implementing, and optimizing technology solutions for our clients. This role combines advanced technical expertise with exceptional customer service and communication skills. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Brunswick, Maine. While much of the work is performed from our office, the role requires approximately 25% local travel to client locations for project work, onsite troubleshooting, consultations, and technology deployments. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, thrives in a team-oriented environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional client experiences.

Requirements

5+ years of IT experience
Experience supporting multiple client environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Provide advanced Level 2 and Level 3 technical support.
Troubleshoot complex server, cloud, network, and security issues.
Serve as an escalation resource for junior team members.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding issues, solutions, and recommendations.
Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and related cloud services.
Maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, storage, and virtualization environments.
Configure and support networks, firewalls, wireless systems, and VPN technologies.
Administer backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity solutions.
Participate in migrations, upgrades, and deployment projects.
Maintain accurate technical documentation.
Contribute to process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives.
Coach junior engineers.
Share technical knowledge.
Assist with internal training initiatives.
