About The Position

Meta's Infrastructure organization provides the backbone on which the company operates — and today, this importance is significantly amplified by the vision of Super Intelligence. As a Product Manager on the Supply Planning And Capacity Ecosystems (SPACE) team, you will build products, tools, and policies that enable compute infrastructure to scale efficiently, supporting the massive demand powering our social media products and AI initiatives. Capacity is a company investment priority and strategic differentiator. You will plan and optimize infrastructure resources, set capacity targets, and drive cross-functional teams — spanning engineering, data science, finance, supply chain, and data center construction — to meet or exceed those targets. You will also partner with product teams across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and monetization to align investment decisions with business outcomes during a period of rapid AI growth and new hardware adoption. Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Design
  • 8+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and senior leaders
  • 12+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams
  • Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
  • Experienced in enabling effective east-west/cross org coordination, and global collaboration
  • Experience presenting to senior executive audiences
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Deep background in data center infrastructure and capacity planning. Candidates with capacity management experience from adjacent domains (e.g., cloud, networking, supply chain) will also be considered
  • Experience in a consumer focused technology company
  • Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify the important problems to solve (e.g. competitively, strategically, for customers, and in support of company goals).

  • Leadership: Helps identify, frame, justify, and build entirely new focus areas, working across large groups of people (30+), often within an org. Capable of re-framing large problems towards a quicker path to success. Creates consensus across difficult and contentious issues across many teams with appropriate use of escalation, and is often sought after as an escalation point. Routinely lobbies for and wins resources for strategic priorities. Rapidly changes course for projects that aren't on a path to success; effective at shutting down or re-orienting mediocre efforts
  • Coordination: Regularly leads complex and ambiguous cross-functional initiatives. Regularly initiates and improves x-org projects and strategic initiatives
  • Broader Impact: Consistently makes proactive culture or organizational changes that have an org-wide impact. Key contributor to long-term organizational planning across functions. Consulted on team/recruiting decisions across roles; helps recruit and close key hires
