Infrastructure Architect

SciTec•Boulder, CO
•$157,000 - $193,000

About The Position

SciTec, a Firefly Aerospace Company, is a non-traditional defense contractor that develops advanced technologies for U.S. National Security. The Infrastructure Architect provides technical leadership for the Framework's infrastructure and platform architecture, defining and evolving the trusted infrastructure foundation that supports software development, integration, testing, cybersecurity, and operational mission execution. The role works across engineering, platform, cybersecurity, and program leadership teams to develop scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. The Framework architecture includes infrastructure, platform services, security, computing resources, operational databases, and integrated hardware/software environments. The position requires a hands-on technical leader who can work at both strategic architecture and detailed implementation levels while balancing mission needs, operational constraints, and long-term maintainability. This position requires U.S. citizenship because SciTec works exclusively on U.S. government contracts requiring citizenship. SciTec cannot sponsor or assume sponsorship of employee work visas. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance. The position offers a salary range of $157,000–$193,000 per year. SciTec considers role responsibilities, work experience, education or training, and skills when extending an offer; the range is not a guarantee of compensation.
