About The Position

E-logic is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to provide critical systems design, administration, maintenance, and support of physical and virtual servers within a 24/7 enterprise production environment for the Bureau of Diplomatic Technology from U.S Department of State. This role is vital to ensuring the performance, stability, and security of infrastructure platforms supporting Microsoft and Oracle RAC databases.

Requirements

  • Documented experience directly applicable to physical and virtual server infrastructure engineering.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
  • Technical familiarity with enterprise infrastructure components supporting Microsoft or Oracle RAC databases.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and as an integrated member of a team.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level systems engineering, server troubleshooting, and systems lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on systems design, administration, maintenance, and support of physical and virtual servers.
  • Execute required infrastructure changes, performance tuning, proactive system backups, and technical environment migrations.
  • Provide robust infrastructure support to development teams working on applications that use Microsoft Windows and Linux as a platform.
  • Support the Modernization of information systems moving toward an open systems environment within the Integrated Personnel Management System (IPMS) framework.
