About The Position

Wipro Limited is hiring an Infrastructure And Platform Architect to own end-to-end Versa SD-WAN architecture. The role covers branch, hub, data center, Internet, and cloud connectivity, and involves developing and approving design documents and standards, defining network architecture and routing strategies, and leading complex migrations from MPLS and legacy WAN to Versa SD-WAN.

The architect provides technical leadership during high-risk production migrations and critical incidents, leads advanced troubleshooting, conducts architecture reviews, and ensures solutions meet scalability, resiliency, security, and performance requirements. The role also provides L3/SME escalation support and mentoring, collaborates with customer and internal teams, and drives technical standards, reusable templates, automation, design governance, and operational handover.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of experience.
• Mandatory skill: SD-WAN administration.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Versa SD-WAN architecture for branch, hub, data center, Internet, and cloud connectivity.
• Develop, review, and approve HLDs, LLDs, migration runbooks, configuration standards, and technical design documents.
• Define underlay and overlay architecture, routing, segmentation, high availability, redundancy, and failover strategies.
• Design application-aware routing, traffic steering, QoS, and SLA-based path-selection policies.
• Lead complex MPLS and legacy WAN-to-Versa SD-WAN migrations, including cutover, rollback, and validation strategy.
• Design and validate BGP/OSPF routing, route redistribution, filtering, summarization, and route-policy architecture.
• Integrate Versa SD-WAN with firewalls, MPLS, Internet/DIA, IPsec VPN, data centers, and cloud environments.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex routing, tunnel, packet loss, latency, jitter, QoS, NAT, and application-performance issues.
• Provide technical leadership during high-risk production migrations and critical incident resolution.
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure solutions meet scalability, resiliency, security, and performance requirements.
• Mentor migration and implementation engineers and provide L3/SME escalation support.
• Work with customer architects, project managers, security, cloud, carrier, and operations teams during design and migration activities.
• Drive technical standards, reusable templates, automation, design governance, and operational handover.
