About The Position

The Infrastructure and Corrosion Supervisor is part of the Fixed Maintenance team. He/She is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of buildings and site facilities. The role involves supervising a team of building mechanics, carpenters, pipefitters, as well as corrosion-related work. This person is responsible for implementing the maintenance reliability program. The Infrastructure Supervisor adheres to company principles by promoting a management approach focused on sustainable development, operational excellence, and the organization’s code of conduct.

Requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma in mechanics.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Basic computer skills.

  • Experience related to building maintenance is considered a major asset.
  • Bilingualism (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize building maintenance activities for the team in alignment with schedules.
  • Resolve building-related issues and recommend measures to improve productivity and service availability.
  • Supervise the department’s corrosion-related activities.
  • Be responsible for corrosion inspections.
  • Supervise project teams working on-site.
  • Review corrosion reports and issue recommendations.
  • Ensure proper execution of all activities and compliance with work procedures.
  • Develop new work procedures to standardize operations.
  • Participate in health and safety activities within the fixed maintenance department.
  • Prepare and lead health and safety meetings.
  • Plan, prepare, and follow up on health and safety activities such as inspections, risk assessments, and incident/accident reports.
  • Supervise personnel, evaluate performance, and support employee development.
  • Ensure worker training regarding job tasks, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Participate in maintenance and repair planning in collaboration with the planning team.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports based on performance indicators.
  • Contribute to the development of the building maintenance budget and ensure cost control.
  • Comply with, understand, and promote company rules and policies, particularly regarding health and safety.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.
