About The Position

The Corrosion Engineering Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of corrosion engineers and specialists in the delivery of cathodic protection projects. This role combines technical oversight with strong people leadership, ensuring high-quality engineering solutions while developing the capabilities of the CP team. The Supervisor will act as a client-facing representative and contribute directly to strategy, execution, and growth for both the business and corrosion control team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant corrosion engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, including direct involvement in CP projects.
  • Interest or active involvement in AMPP communities.
  • Strong leadership abilities with proven experience developing and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-facing mindset.
  • Familiarity with AMPP standards, API standards, and CFR Parts 192/195.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to support profitability and cross-selling across Integrity service lines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the Director, develop and execute the business plan for the CP survey, troubleshooting, commissioning, and direct assessment.
  • Lead development and standardization of cathodic protection survey and data review/analysis methodologies, deliverables, procedures, and QA/QC processes.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, providing guidance on system decisions and risk considerations.
  • Support and occasionally participate in field data collection to validate assumptions and ensure technical accuracy.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop engineering staff to advance technical capability in corrosion control.
  • Manage team workload, resource allocation, and project oversight to ensure profitable, on-schedule delivery.
  • Participate in business development activities and collaborate with BD to grow relationships and expand service offerings.
  • Conduct performance reviews, support recruiting efforts, and ensure compliance with all company processes and policies.
  • Contribute to broader Integrity projects (ILI, API, NDE, Design, etc.) as needed from a corrosion engineering perspective.
