About The Position

The IT Team Leader directly manages a team of software developers and guides a portfolio of application development projects. The role balances project delivery with people leadership by setting direction, coaching team members, conducting performance reviews, and addressing challenges. The position manages application development projects from planning through deployment and ongoing support, provides technical guidance, and partners with business stakeholders to deliver practical solutions. The role also identifies improvements to the team’s work and its contribution to broader IT goals.

Requirements

• 10 years of software engineering or application development experience.
• At least 5 years of direct people management experience, including formal performance reviews, employee development, and performance conversations.
• Experience leading multiple software development projects at the same time.
• Strong technical judgment and the ability to turn business needs into clear plans for a development team.
• Clear communication, sound prioritization, and a leadership style that combines support with accountability.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
