Job Summary: Provide first-line technical support to Kubota Manufacturing of America employees by assisting with hardware, software, and network-related issues. Support day-to-day Service Desk operations through ticket management, troubleshooting, documentation, and customer service while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be actively pursuing a related degree throughout the internship period.
  • Expected graduation date must be December 2027 or later.
  • Candidates who have already graduated or who will graduate before December 2027 are not eligible.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service or technical support experience.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exposure to ticketing systems, Active Directory, or IT support tools.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Experience troubleshooting common computer and software issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support to users by addressing technical issues and inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in-person support.
  • Assist employees with password resets, account access issues, and basic system troubleshooting.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring a positive support experience.
  • Log, categorize, prioritize, and track incidents and service requests within the IT ticketing system.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate IT team members when necessary.
  • Follow up with users to confirm issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues.
  • Assist with workstation setup, device deployment, software installation, and equipment maintenance.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for printers, mobile devices, and other business technology tools.
  • Create and maintain documentation for support processes, troubleshooting steps, and recurring issues.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Service Desk knowledge base.
  • Document resolutions and best practices to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with IT team members on daily operations and special projects.
  • Participate in training opportunities to expand technical and professional skills.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
