Requirements

The preferred candidate will be a currently enrolled as a student and registered in at least 12 credits at an accredited Bachelor’s Degree program in business, technology or management or related degree programs.
The preferred candidate will be in their sophomore or junior year of school.
Only strong academic performers in undergraduate coursework will be considered.
Must maintain an acceptable GPA.
Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application to be considered.
Applicants should be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Good organizational and problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to understand and take direction on solving complex business information problems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all Daktronics information.
Ability to meet all workplace safety requirements.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Gain exposure to IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) practices, including tracking hardware/software inventory, license compliance, and lifecycle management.
Assist in maintaining accurate asset records and supporting audits for software compliance.
Learn how ITAM/SAM contributes to cost optimization and risk management in enterprise environments
Communicating professionally via email/IM/telephone.
Working in databases and SharePoint.
Prioritizing work.

Following procedures and making recommendations for improvements.
