Requirements

  • The preferred candidate will be a currently enrolled as a student and registered in at least 12 credits at an accredited Bachelor’s Degree program in business, technology or management or related degree programs.
  • The preferred candidate will be in their sophomore or junior year of school.
  • Only strong academic performers in undergraduate coursework will be considered.
  • Must maintain an acceptable GPA.
  • Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application to be considered.
  • Applicants should be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to understand and take direction on solving complex business information problems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all Daktronics information.
  • Ability to meet all workplace safety requirements.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Daktronics does not sponsor, renew, or extend immigration visas for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Gain exposure to IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) practices, including tracking hardware/software inventory, license compliance, and lifecycle management.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate asset records and supporting audits for software compliance.
  • Learn how ITAM/SAM contributes to cost optimization and risk management in enterprise environments
  • Communicating professionally via email/IM/telephone.
  • Working in databases and SharePoint.
  • Prioritizing work.
  • Problem solving.
  • Following procedures and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Managing small projects.
  • Networking.
  • Customer interaction.
